Terms of use

This is an English translation for your convenience. The binding terms are the Hebrew version, and if the two differ, the Hebrew version governs.

1. General

The site and the services are operated by [Registered business name] ([Business / company number]), under the trade name Managie. By using the site or buying a subscription, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.

2. The services

• Kodkod: a team app for businesses, set up separately for each business and used in the browser.
• Managie Studio: software that runs on your computer and connects to a WooCommerce store. You get a license to use it for the length of your subscription.
• Life OS: a personal app for managing tasks, your calendar, money and more, with a free version and paid plans. The app is currently in Hebrew.

3. Orders and payment

• Prices on the site are in Israeli shekels and include VAT, unless stated otherwise.
• Subscriptions renew automatically every billing period (a month or a year) until you cancel. You’re charged on the credit card you entered on the payment company’s page.
• Every charge comes with a tax invoice/receipt sent by email.
• We’ll give you advance written notice of any price change to an existing subscription. The change applies only from the billing period after the notice, and you can cancel before then.
• The cost of outside AI services you use with your own key (for example in Studio, or in Kodkod’s AI guides) is billed directly by their provider and isn’t part of your subscription.

4. Cancelling a purchase and ending a subscription

• You can cancel a purchase within 14 days of the transaction or of receiving the disclosure document, whichever is later, under the Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981. In that case your payment is refunded, less a cancellation fee of 5% of the price or ₪100, whichever is lower, as far as the law allows.
• People with disabilities, senior citizens and new immigrants may cancel within four months, for a transaction that included a conversation with a representative, under the conditions set by law.
• You can end an ongoing subscription at any time by email. It takes effect within 3 business days, and the charges stop.
• If you cancel a yearly subscription after the 14 days, we refund the share of the period you haven’t used, less a cancellation fee as permitted by law.
• Send cancellation notices to hello@managie.co.il, with your name and your order number or the phone number you signed up with.

5. Using the services

• The services are meant for people aged 18 and over, and for lawfully operating businesses.
• You’re responsible for keeping your sign-in details and the information you enter safe, and for using the services for lawful purposes only.
• You may not copy the software, try to get around security measures, reverse engineer it, or transfer your license to anyone else without our written permission.

6. Your data

The data you enter into the apps belongs to you. You can ask for an export of it at any time. After your subscription ends we keep your data for 30 days so you can export it, and then we delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it.

7. Content created with AI

Some tools draft texts, descriptions and guides with artificial intelligence. Such output may contain mistakes, so it’s shown to you for approval before it’s saved. It’s your responsibility to check it before you publish it, especially nutrition information, prices and legal details.

8. Availability and support

We make every effort to keep the services available and working, but there may be breaks for maintenance or faults at outside providers. We’ll let you know about planned maintenance in advance whenever we can.

9. Intellectual property

All rights in the site, the software, the design and the Managie, Kodkod and Life OS trademarks are ours. WooCommerce, WordPress and other third-party marks belong to their owners and are mentioned only to describe compatibility.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, our liability for any damage connected with the services is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event, and we’re not liable for indirect or consequential damage. Nothing here takes away rights that the law gives consumers and that can’t be waived.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. A material change will be posted here and emailed to customers before it takes effect.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. The competent courts in Tel Aviv-Jaffa have exclusive jurisdiction.
