Accessibility statement

Accessibility level

The site is built to Israeli Standard SI 5568, which is based on the WCAG guidelines, at level AA, in line with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013. We tested the site with automated checks, with keyboard-only navigation and with enlarged text.

What we’ve done on the site

• A clear structure of headings and regions, so screen readers can jump between parts of the page.
• A “Skip to main content” link at the start of every page.
• Everything works from the keyboard, with a strong focus indicator that’s visible on any background.
• A contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 for regular text, in both the light and the dark theme.
• Forms with labels, clear error messages linked to their field, and an error summary at the top of the form.
• The site respects your device’s reduced motion setting. Every animation that runs for more than a few seconds has a pause button.
• The animated demos are also described in text, under the “What the demo shows” button below each demo.
• The language and direction are set on every page: Hebrew pages read right to left, English pages left to right.
• The site works at up to 200% zoom without losing content, on any screen size.

The accessibility menu

Every page has a fixed accessibility button in the corner of the screen. You can also open it from the keyboard: it’s the first item after the skip link. The menu lets you:

• Make the text bigger or smaller.
• Switch on high contrast or grayscale, and choose a light or dark theme.
• Highlight links, use a readable font and increase text spacing.
• Stop all animations.
• Use a big cursor and a reading guide that helps you follow the line.
• Hide illustrations.

Your settings are saved in your browser only, and you can reset them in one click.

Parts that aren’t fully accessible yet

• The animated demos are a visual illustration of the app screens. Their content is given in text below each demo.
• The payment page belongs to the payment company and isn’t under our control. If you run into trouble there, write to us and we’ll complete the payment another way.
• Life OS is available in Hebrew only for now.
